Kansas City Music Industry Commission

The Kansas City Music Commission is a joint venture between Black Vine Worldwide Media Group, LLC (“Black Vine”) and Black & White Enterprises, LLC (“Black & White”). This initiative aims to create a central hub for the representation, support, and management of various stakeholders within the Kansas City music industry.

Mission Statement

The Kansas City Music Industry Commission’s mission is to strengthen the local music ecosystem by supporting musicians, recording artists, studios, venues, managers, agents, marketers, publicists, and content creators. Through collaboration with the city government, private entities, and surrounding municipalities, the Commission ensures elevation within the Kansas City music industry.

With the future in mind, a significant focus for the Commission is to develop programming and concepts to showcase Kansas City’s musical talent during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Commission sees this high-profile global event as a unique opportunity to demonstrate Kansas City’s vibrant music culture to an international audience. The Kansas City Music Industry Commission is there for the growth of its community’s musical talents.
